As the year comes to a close, Cinémathèque suisse unveils its new website, inviting the general public to discover the richness and variety of its activities. With a completely redesigned architecture, it offers new features, a more intuitive exploration of the programme and a dive into the heart of the institution’s archives. Available in four languages, this new site reinforces Cinémathèque suisse’s digital presence both nationally and internationally.
In December, Cinémathèque suisse launches its new website. This showcase for the institution has been thoroughly revamped by its own teams, in collaboration with Swiss agencies Make Space and Antistatique. The overhaul is comprehensive, both in terms of design and information, with a streamlined architecture, easier navigation and new features. Emphasis has also been placed on content, showcasing the archives with numerous photos and videos, projections sorted by age or media (analogue or digital) and main pages in four languages - French and German, but also English and Italian. Finally, a media section allows you to consult the latest press releases and download institutional images.
One portal, multiple requests
Another major innovation: a request management portal, intended for professionals in the field, as well as for the general public, to order images, organise a visit or submit films. On the occasion of its 75th anniversary, which it will celebrate in 2023 through several events, the institution is getting a makeover and is looking forward to welcoming you to its new virtual space and better inform you.
